Protect the community, the service and the game economy.
These rules apply across PLO-controlled game, website and community services.
1. Respect other users
Do not harass, threaten, stalk, impersonate, discriminate against or deliberately target other users with abusive, hateful, sexually explicit or unlawful content. Do not publish another person's private information without permission.
2. No piracy or unlawful copyrighted material
Do not post, upload, request, advertise, sell, link to or facilitate distribution of pirated ROMs, copyrighted source-game files, malicious software or other unlawful material through PLO services. See the Game Data & ROM Policy.
3. No cheating, automation or client tampering
Do not use bots, macros, automation, packet manipulation, unauthorised software, modified clients or exploits to gain an unfair advantage or bypass restrictions. Do not attempt to interfere with PLO servers, authentication, persistence, anti-cheat, rate limits or security controls.
4. Report vulnerabilities responsibly
Do not publicly disclose or weaponise a security weakness or exploitable game defect against users or the service. Report it privately through the official support/security route so it can be investigated.
5. Accounts and identity
Do not access accounts you do not own, impersonate staff, evade sanctions, sell accounts, or knowingly help another person bypass an account restriction. Keep credentials private and report suspected compromise.
6. Trading and real-money activity
Do not scam, defraud or engage in unauthorised real-money trading involving PLO accounts, Pokémon, currency, items or services. Any future official paid memberships or premium content will be offered only through PLO-approved channels and do not authorise player-to-player real-money markets.
7. Service integrity
Do not spam, disrupt, attack, overload, probe or abuse PLO infrastructure. Do not use the service for fraud, malware distribution, denial-of-service activity or other unlawful conduct.
8. Moderation
PLO may remove content and issue warnings, mutes, restrictions, suspensions or bans proportionate to the circumstances, history and risk involved. Serious security, fraud or legal incidents may result in immediate restriction while investigated.
9. Applicable law
You must not use PLO services to violate applicable law or the rights of another person. These rules do not create permission to use third-party intellectual property in a way that would otherwise be unlawful.
