PLO does not provide ROMs.

1. User-supplied files only

If a PLO feature requires compatible source-game data, the user must supply that file locally from a copy the user is legally entitled to possess and use. PLO does not obtain a ROM for the user and does not authorise any particular method of acquiring or extracting copyrighted game data.

2. No ROM upload to PLO

PLO's intended ROM-validation workflow operates locally on the user's device. The source ROM itself must not be uploaded to PLO account, website, game-server or support services. Validation may record only the minimum local identification information needed to confirm compatibility, such as file identity or cryptographic hash, where implemented.

3. No piracy assistance

Users must not post, request, advertise, trade, sell, upload or link to pirated ROMs or other unauthorised copyrighted source-game material through PLO-controlled services. Staff may remove such material and take action under the Code of Conduct.

4. No legal assumption from ownership

Owning an original cartridge or legitimate copy does not automatically make every method of downloading, copying, bypassing protection, extracting or using game data lawful in every country. Users are responsible for the copyright, anti-circumvention, format-shifting and other laws that apply to them.

5. Compatibility is not endorsement

References to particular games, platforms, file identities or compatibility requirements are descriptive only. They do not indicate affiliation, sponsorship, licence or approval by the relevant rights holder.

6. Support boundary

PLO support may help with client configuration, compatibility checks and errors involving a lawfully supplied local file. PLO support will not provide ROM download locations or facilitate acquisition of unauthorised copies.
